Maintains a register of birth and death records in the town. Also files the records with the New York State Department of Health in Albany. Issues copies of these certificates. Issues uncertified copies of birth, death or marriage records for genealogical research. The town’s records start mainly in the 1880s, with a few records going back to 1847.
